How To Play X's vs O's

The Object is to get three-in-a-row with X or O on the larger board, by first winning with three-in-a-row on the small boards.

Start in a smaller board and place your X's or O's. When you start a game, you are able to immediately play on 5 of the 9 smaller boards (squares). Your opponent will be able to play on the other 4 smaller boards immediately. As you place your move, the square will "lock" and your opponent will have an opportunity to play. If your opponent is playing at the same time, you will see his moves as he plays them. This allows you to play the game in "real time" with them.

Attempt to win the smaller board. Like the middle board shown below.

Once you win a smaller board your X or O will show over the whole smaller board, meaning you have won that square.

Once you win three-in-a-row on the larger board, you win the game!

During the game, you have the ability to use a strategic option called a "trick". This "trick" button is located near the bottom right side of the board and can be tapped to attempt to use it.

Once tapped, a dialogue box will appear and explain what the "trick" does and asked if you wish to use.

There is an "UNDO" option on the board, which will appear right after your make your play. If you hit this button quick enough, you can take back that last play. It will only last a few seconds, so you need to act fast if you wish to use it.

Another thing to take notice of, is the "nudge" button at the bottom right side of screen. This allows you to send a reminder to the other player. Letting them know you want to finish your game!
